PLEASE VOLUNTEER FOR A SHIFT AT THE POLLS ON ELECTION DAY
We still need help handing out quarter-page sheets about DWC and DWC-endorsed candidates on November 3 at the most active polling sites.  Many have stepped up to volunteer but we still have shifts open early morning, mid-day and late afternoon. If you can help, please email Penny Githens at [email protected].  When you contact Penny, please include your cell phone number.  Thank you!

ACTION ITEM
From Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America

Tell President Obama he has your support to take executive action to prevent gun violence.
We’re tired of waiting for Congress to act on gun violence — and we bet you are too. That’s why Everytown for Gun Safety just sent President Obama five straightforward actions the White House can take to help curb gun violence, save lives, and reduce crime without waiting on Congress. We know President Obama is open to these ideas, but to overcome the NRA’s aggressive opposition, we need to send an overwhelming message that we want real action NOW.

Click here to sign the petition to President Obama telling him you support executive action to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people.
