Election Day is rapidly approaching and we need your help! The early voting site is busy, but there are many strong Democrats that have not yet voted. Check out our endorsed candidates' Facebook pages to show your support (see below). We also need volunteers to hand out quarter-sheets with ALL the DWC-endorsed candidates listed (and praised) at the Saturday early voting opportunities and on election day. One simple thing you can do to support the candidates is "liking" their Facebook pages. It takes less than a minute, and we even have the links for you here so that you can simply click on them, check out their page, and click "like." Note: We have put links to the candidates' websites if they do not have a Facebook page.

"Point of Sale" Outreach at the Polls
Help our endorsed candidates win this Fall! The DWC Steering Committee has prepared a flyer listing all our endorsed candidates that we want to hand out during the two Saturdays of early voting (Oct. 25 and Nov. 1) as well as on election day (Nov. 4). We are short of volunteers! Please sign up for a 1-2 hour time slot by contacting DWC vice chair Jillian Kinzie today!

You don't have to wait until Election Day to cast your ballot. When you vote early, you enjoy convenient hours, short lines, and fewer campaign calls reminding you to do your duty!

The Next DWC Breakfast Meeting is Nov. 7
The next breakfast meeting will be the post-election meeting. We will discuss the Georgetown Energy Challenge with Jacqui Bauer, the Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Bloomington. We will then spend time hearing from the candidates about what they learned from their campaigns, and celebrating their victories!
Monroe County Democrats Club Meeting Oct. 21
The Monroe County Democrats' Club will meet on Tuesday, October 21st, at 11:45 a.m. at the American Legion, 1800 W. Third St. This month's speakers will include the Democratic candidates for Monroe County Judge and Township Trustee. The public is invited to attend.
